For safe use in Automatic Mode, your cat should be over 3 lb (1.36 kg) and older
than 6 months.

If your cat is under 3 lb, younger than 6 months, pregnant, or nursing, use Manual
Mode (automatic cleaning disabled).

What litter should I use?

Use clumping litter (mineral/bentonite clay, or other small-particle litter that clumps well).

Not recommended: long-strip tofu litter or crystal litter.

How does it help with odor?

The open-top design improves airflow, and the waste container keeps clumps contained. Best results come from:

• Using quality clumping litter  
• Keeping litter between MIN and MAX (ideally near MAX)  
• Emptying the waste container regularly  
• Closing/tightening the liner drawstring before opening the bin
